This was such a sweet session with a great dad and his two kids. We met at the DeCordova Sculpture Park and Museum on a beautiful Saturday morning. These kids have a really great relationship with their dad.
And, and as with a lot of dads, there was some goofiness.
But also, a lot of love.
These were two of the most polite, fun, and easy going kids I have worked with.
And they clearly love eachother!
We got plenty of portraits, but also made sure there was some time to run around. This is one of my favorite places to do family sessions. It’s beautify, shady, and there is so much for the kids to experience. This location has enough variety for some great portraits, but the kids don’t get bored. If we schedule it right, they have plenty of time to have fun and enjoy the space!
This kid is hilarious. The expressions he gave me were priceless. Check out that scraped chin (from a scooter accident I think!) in the lower left. I retouched it out of most — it was a doozy, but there, it just says “little boy” all the way.
And his sister was just as animated. I love how happy she is!
But also super sweet.
My favorite is the bottom right shot where he’s shooting his Spidey-Web at me. He’s just too cute. Also, notice the painted nails! LOVE!
I have no idea what they were discussing on the steps, but it was definitely important.
