Here I am, once again posting a session almost a year from when I did it, and a week before I’m about to see this family again for their yearly family photos! The first time I met Graham and his family was in 2015 when he was just four years old. I look forward to seeing him and his family every year, and his mom now feels like a friend to me.
Last year we did our annual session in York, at what is now one of my favorite spots, and we were joined by Graham’s cousin Molly. They are as close as siblings, and it was so sweet to see how much fun they had together.
I really love this spot for the variety that this one location offers. We started on the boardwalk.
And then headed down the path to this wiggly bridge.
Look at the light from the sun going down behind the trees. So pretty.
There are rocks to sit on and skip stones from.
And rocks to climb on too. I love the perspective from this spot.
Across the bridge, there is a wooded area too, that allowed us to use some evergreens as the backdrop.
If you’ve worked with me before, you know I usually show up with my instant camera so that kids can take some of their own photos at the end of the session!
Can’t wait to see all of you next weekend! Seeing so many returning families this year has really made things seem almost normal, and that is pretty great.
