This session from last September was perfect in so many ways! Not only is this a gorgeous family, but the light, the weather, and the gardens at the Stevens Coolidge Place in North Andover were all just perfect. September (along with June) is my favorite time to photograph families, because we don’t have to worry about the heat of summer, yet we still have a gorgeous landscape and the light can really be magical on the right evening.
Further down in this post, you can see some of the beautiful flowers that are in the Stevens Coolidge Place cutting garden. From July 23 to October 1st, you can visit the property to cut organically grown flowers on Fridays and Saturdays, 10AM–5PM. All the details can be found at this link.
If you are interested in a family session at the Stevens Coolidge Place while the gardens are in bloom, get in touch soon, as my September availability is starting to fill up!
Here are some of the images from the cutting garden. The light gets really lovely near the end of a session on a beautiful day like this. The garden is colorful and full of zinnias, sunflowers, rudbeckia, and lots of other unusual varieties of flowers.
The berry-like purple and red flowers (i need to learn what they are!) on the bottom left are some of my favorites. In the background you can see the zinnias!
