The Experience
Of all the milestones I get to photograph, none makes me smile more than meeting a brand new baby, and documenting the beginning of their life at home. These days are so happy, yet fleeting and exhausting, and many memories are lost to the fog of it all. My goal is to tell the story of this time in your life in a way that is natural and real, but also relaxing and without added stress to new parents. I can't wait to meet you and your sweet new baby.
Step 1
Book Your Session: $675
- Includes a pre-session consultation, either by phone or email, to discuss details of your session. I"ll pencil your due date into my calendar, and we'll finalize a time once you get in touch to say the baby has arrived.
- Newborn Session Guide, full of tips on preparing for your session.
- Roughly 90 minutes to 2 hours of photography, or longer if you need breaks to feed or change baby.
- An online, password protected proofing gallery of 50+ images and a shareable slideshows, set to music and hosted online for 30 days.
- Your choice of ten high-resolution images retouched to perfection (including removal of any baby acne, or those little scratches they seem to give themselves!), and delivered electronically to print/share as you wish.
- Printing Guide with lab recommendations to help you make beautiful prints and other products on your own.
- Optional post-session consultation to view product samples or assist you in choosing your images. I'm here to help, even after your session!
STep 2
Relax and enjoy your Session
We'll spend and hour or two together in your home, whenever you are ready after baby arrives (don't worry if you aren't up for it the minute you get home!) and capture beautiful images of your new baby, but also those of you as a family. If the baby has siblings, we'll make sure they get a little time in front of the camera on their own too. I want to get to you know you and your family, I welcome suggestions or requests, I'm easy to chat with, and usually leave a session feeling like I've made new friends. My ultimate goal is to capture you in a way that you will look back at your images years from now, and smile.
