Will you just look at this sweet baby so content snuggling up with his mom! The days of holding my tiny babies like that seems like just yesterday and a million years ago all at the same time. This Boston area newborn session is from last winter because, once again, I’m trying to catch up on sharing work. Even though I’m not great about getting work up on the blog, I do love going back to it months later and looking through the images. Little Patrick also has a really awesome big brother named Lucca who was just so sweet and excited for his new sibling. 
Have I ever mentioned that dad’s are always great at swaddling babies? I often think it’s because they were the only ones who were able to really pay attention when the hospital nurses gave the swaddling lesson.
Such a perfect little face.
And hands, and feet!
While baby had a little breakfast, storytime was going on in the other room.
As you can see, this kid was all smiles all the time that morning.
And once breakfast was over, there was stories with the whole family. 
I love this one of mom, dad, and baby.
And big brother giving mom some smooches!
Those days when a newborn comes home and the whole family is there to cuddle, is such a special time.
