One of the best ways to get the most out of your senior photos is by bringing multiple outfits. As a Boston senior photographer, I always encourage my seniors to mix it up because it gives you variety. It captures different sides of your personality and makes your gallery feel more vibrant and engaging. If you’re looking for senior photos in the Boston area, my Senior Portrait Sessions are customized to showcase your unique style — not to mention — they are fun!

When thinking about what to wear for your senior portrait session, the answer is: bring options! Tahani, for example, brought four completely different outfits to her summer senior photo session. Plus, her ice skates because she’s a competitive figure skater. Her outfits ranged from a casual jeans-and-a-top combo to a beautiful summer dress. She also had two gorgeous and feminine flowy dresses that created the most romantic look in the gardens and fields of the Stevens-Coolidge Place at sunset. My Custom Session (1-2 hours), allows for plenty of time to explore different looks and locations without feeling rushed.

Tahani started in this long, summery dress — suited perfectly for the garden setting at the Stevens Coolidge Place.

It was easy to highlight Tahani’s love of figure skating by incorporating her skates into a few simple poses.

And Tahani’s other love is her sweet pup! We grabbed a few photos with him near the parking lot before the session, since dogs are not technically allowed on the Stevens Coolidge Place property (then Tahani’s dad brought him home). Adorable!

Think about it — your senior year is such a big milestone, and your photos should reflect all the different facets of who you are. Maybe you want a polished, classic look for your yearbook photo, a laid-back outfit that feels totally you, and something fun, flowly, or trendy to mix things up. We can do it all!

Tahani’s next outfit was this gorgeous flowy pink dress. So perfect for a garden style senior session, especially with these stunning dahlias.

A cute summer sundress was next on the list as we made our way around the property.

And then lastly, the classic jeans and white top combo that so many seniors gravitate to. Always a great choice, but you don’t have to make it your only option!

As the end-of-day light reached perfection, Tahani made a quick change back into her pink dress. It was just perfect for the fields as the sun set behind the trees. I especially loved that this dress had some movement!

So, as you can see, bringing multiple outfits to your senior photo session means more variety, more personality, and ultimately, a senior portrait gallery that tells your story. If that sounds like what you’re looking for, let’s start planning your session!
