Jenn reached out to me last Spring in her search for a Boston family portrait photographer. The session was meant to cover a lot of bases — and it did! It was the perfect gift/way to celebrate Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, and her parent’s 50th anniversary. I think they loved it!
We met at Larz Anderson Park in Brookline on a Saturday in early ay. Here is the whole crew, that included Jenn and Katherine and their adorable 17-month-old daughter Ella, along with Jenn’s parents and sister. With a 17-month-old, you never really know how long you will have for a session. Some toddlers melt down after only 30 minutes, but not Ella! Once she warmed up, we were good to go for well over an hour and we got a lot of great shots!
Larz Anderson was really pretty in early May with the trees blossoming.
Jenn and her sister and parents with little Ella (who loved her Aunt)!
I just love these three.
We wanted a few of Ella on her own, and she was more than willing to be in front of the camera.
These are some other favorites of mine, with the purple Spring flowers and the texture of the rocks.
And then we had some real fun in a field of dandelions.
She was such a ham at times!
The end! I’m so happy I was able to capture this time together as a family.
