It was just five years ago that I photographed Courtney and Ian’s engagement photos at the Stevens Coolidge Place in North Andover, and this September I got to see them again and meet their little girl, Sloane, at their home in Andover. Sloane one of four baby girls born into her extended family in 2020, and you can see photos from her cousin Marina’s newborn session here!

Nursery Photos are so important.
I love capturing the special spaces that parents create for their little ones.

One of the most special things in the nursery is this little bear made from clothing worn by Courtney’s dad, who passed away many years ago. I wish I’d done something like this with my dad’s things. Each of the four baby girls born in Sloane’s extended family received a bear like this.

Time to go outside.
This session took place on a warm September day, and a haze that travelled from the California wildfires created a really interesting light.

This look!

Grandparents are always welcome.
Sloane’s grandparents stopped by and popped into a few photos, too. I love having grandparents join in the session. Babies and kids love interacting with them and it’s important to have photos of them together.

Three generations.

Cutiepie.

I love little baby details like fingers and eyelashes.

She has such pretty eyes!
