Say what you want about 2020, but little Marina was one of FOUR baby girls born last year in her extended family. You really can’t get much more joy in life than that in one year!
Since hers was my first newborn session of Covid, we did most of the photos outside, which worked out great. We even took advantage of Mother Nature’s early summer flowers as accents.
One of the best things about this session besides Marina, was getting to see her older twin siblings, Max and Layla. It was just a few years ago that I photographed them as newborns.
They were soooo tiny and beautiful!
And now they are great older siblings. They did so well during this whole session — look at Layla’s baby holding skills.
I was lucky enough to live next door to this whole family for several years, until they recently moved to a bigger house with more room for a family of five. I miss seeing the kids riding their little cars around the driveway!
The yard behind the house is really pretty, with a little shady grove of trees that made a perfect spot for photos of Stefania and Marina.
I love this series of mom with her three babies.
The wooded area behind the house has a HUGE rhododendron that is perfect for climbing.
Nursery photos are really important for a newborn session so we ventured inside for a few minutes (I wore a mask), and I’m so glad we did.
We also took a minute or two to grab some family shots in the living room. I love it when everyone gets cozied up on the couch together.
