We all had the rug pulled out from under us last year, and we all missed important events, along with time with family and friends. The Class of 2020 proved to be a resilient bunch — and finished their Senior year in a way that no one could have imagined.
This group of friends from North Andover High School asked me to photograph a grad session for them just after their very unusual graduation, and it was a total blast, and a way for them to come together before they went off in different directions.
The goal of the session was for the kids to stay masked and distanced the whole time, but that didn’t last as long as the parents or I had hoped! However, we were outside, and they really deserved some time together.
In addition to group photos we did individual shots of each graduate in their caps and gowns.
I just love this one.
After the portraits in the courtyard, we headed up the hill where we had a great view of the school.
The perfect spot for the traditional tossing of their caps!
And a game of spike ball!
And a few fun shots on the track where all these kids ran together during their High School years.
Class of 2020 cupcakes, were the perfect way to end the session!
Congratulations to all these awesome kids!
