When Meghan contacted me about scheduling a family session, she told me that they had an 18 month old toddler, and had just welcomed a new baby into the family. Since they hadn’t done a newborn session for their first daughter, Meghan wanted to make sure that this session was focused on the family as a whole in addition to some newborn photos of their new little one. We met at their home on the shores of a local pond in late April. In addition to the pond, we had a lovely backdrop of Spring forsythia, and Meghan picked out the perfect wardrobe to pick up that gorgeous yellow. Read this blog post to learn why I love Spring Family Sessions so much!
We kept the session very relaxed and made sure that little Emily had fun and felt at ease despite having a stranger with a camera show up at her house.
Baby Vivian got plenty of snuggles while Emily was having a good time running around.
“I think mom’s coming!”
We spent a little time down at the pond, before heading back up to the house for a snack.
Dan heads off to work and Emily sends him off.
Then we made sure Vivian got a little time in the spotlight.
The session ended with some sister time.
